The Yang Family
If you are between about 9 and 12 years old, then you will like my books about the Yang Family. This is the story of a family of four kids. They moved to America from China, and now they have to adjust to life in America. There are four books, one about each kid. The first one is Yang the Youngest and His Terrible Ear. You'll like these books best if you are between about 9 and 12 years old. If you have a younger sister or brother between 9 and 12, they might enjoy these books too.

Samurai Stories
If you are between 12 and 15 years old and like mysteries and swordfights, you'll enjoy my samurai stories from 16th century Japan. Two samurai, Zenta and Matsuzo, are unemployed and looking for work. In those days, being an unemployed samurai meant you got into lots of fights and had to defend your honor. Lots of swashbuckling adventure!
